Children’s Auditions
Ages 5–7
Registration: 8:45am
Audition: 9:30am
Ages 8–11
Registration: 11:00am
Audition: 11:45am
Auditions are open to dancers ages 5 through 11. Auditioning dancers should come dressed for dance class (tights, leotard, ballet shoes and girl’s hair pulled back in a ballet bun). Ages 8-11 must have a minimum of one ballet class per week.
All registration will be completed online, including those registering the day of auditions. Parents will be asked to check in their dancer and pick up their dancer upon completion of the audition. Parents are not permitted in the audition room. Instructions will be given to sign up for “REMIND” which is how we will notify parents that their child is ready to be picked up.
Medical History Form and Medical Release Waiver must be printed, filled out, and brought to auditions. If you do not have these completed, your dancer will not be able to audition.
Apprentice Auditions
Ages 11 & Up WITH 1 Year of Pointe Experience
Registration: 2:00pm
Audition: 2:30pm
Any dancer over the age of 11 with no pointe experience should contact the Artistic Director Melissa Larish at balletartscny@gmail.com to determine which audition may be appropriate to attend.
This includes Returning Apprentice dancers AND any dancers 11 and up, who have a minimum of one year of pointe experience.
Dancers from this group may be invited to attend Company Auditions at the panels discretion

These auditions are for returning company members and any dancers issued an invitation during the Apprentice Audition
