The 2023 Nutcracker rehearsal schedule will be announced next week. If you have not joined Remind, please email balletartscny@gmail.com for the codes. This is your main source of communication about rehearsals and other Nutcracker related items.
Children’s Auditions (Ages 5–11)
Check-In: 9:45am
Audition: 10:00am–11:30am
Auditions are open to dancers ages 5 through 11. Auditioning dancers should come dressed for dance class (tights, leotard, ballet shoes and girls hair pulled back in a ballet bun).
All registration will be completed online, including those registering the day of auditions. Parents will be asked to check in their dancer in and pick up their dancer upon completion of the audition. Parents are not permitted in the audition room. Instructions will be given to sign up for “REMIND” which is how we will notify parents that their child is ready to be picked up.
Medical History Form and Medical Release Waiver must be printed, filled out, and brought to auditions. If you do not have these complete, your dancer will not be able to audition.
Children ages 9 and up may be asked to come back for the Audition at 1:00pm.

Audition: 1:00pm–2:30pm

Auditions are open to dancers who were members of the MVPA Company in 2022-23 or who received an invitation to attend from the artistic director in an earlier audition. Parents will be asked to check in their dancer in and pick up their dancer upon completion of the audition. Parents are not permitted in the audition room.
