Mohawk Valley Performing Arts is proud to announce their Spring performance of Secret Garden, May 19th, 2pm at The Stanley.
The Secret Garden is a new ballet created for the dancers of the Mohawk Valley Performing Arts by Artistic Director Melissa Larish. Based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett it tells of the restorative power of nature, the redemptive power of love, and celebrates the innocence of childhood.
This ballet will feature young dancers from several area schools of dance, a score compiled especially for this production featuring the music of Alexander Glazunov, and beautiful new and classic costumes from the MVPA collection.
This refreshing and joyful ballet is the perfect way to celebrate spring for the young and young at heart. Tickets are now on sale at The Stanley and can be purchased by calling the box office or online.
